Infinite Mode Guide

The ultimate endurance test - survive beyond wave 200 with optimal team composition and strategic execution.

Mode Overview

Infinite Mode represents the ultimate challenge in Universal Tower Defense—an endurance test where teams face increasingly difficult enemy compositions with escalating resistances and armor. Unlike standard mode with finite waves, Infinite Mode continues indefinitely, testing the true limits of your unit combinations, trait optimization, and strategic execution.

Success in Infinite Mode requires understanding the meta at each phase, adapting your strategy as resistances scale, and maintaining perfect execution under pressure. This guide covers the five distinct phases of Infinite Mode, recommended team compositions, and critical tips for pushing beyond wave 200.

Infinite Mode Phases

Phase 1 (Waves 1-50)

Normal Difficulty

Enemy Composition: Standard composition with basic resistances
Recommended Strategy: Focus on establishing economy and testing team composition. No special mechanics.
Key Units:
Miku (18% buff)Berserker (early penetration)Speedwagon (economy)
Rewards: Basic rewards, unit experience

Phase 2 (Waves 51-100)

Hard Difficulty

Enemy Composition: Increased HP, elemental resistances appear
Recommended Strategy: Resistances require elemental diversity. Start using DoT and penetration.
Key Units:
Miku (28% buff)Ace (DoT stacking)Shanks (consistent DPS)
Rewards: Rare trait stones, evolution materials

Phase 3 (Waves 101-150)

Very Hard Difficulty

Enemy Composition: 50% resistance to all elements, 30% armor
Recommended Strategy: Penetration becomes mandatory. Emotional scaling and domains shine.
Key Units:
Berserker (penetration)Mob (Tier 4)Gojo (domain control)
Rewards: unit fragments, Myth, rare relics

Phase 4 (Waves 151-200)

Extreme Difficulty

Enemy Composition: 70% resistance, 50% armor, boss phases
Recommended Strategy: Ultimate abilities and team coordination. Boss phases test positioning.
Key Units:
Sasuke (Rinnegan)Mob (100% intensity)Erwin (formations)
Rewards: Legendary trait stones, exclusive relics

Phase 5 (Waves 200+)

Insane Difficulty

Enemy Composition: 90% resistance, 70% armor, elite compositions
Recommended Strategy: Only perfect teams with optimal traits survive. Economy management critical.
Key Units:
Perfect trait mythicsSpeedwagon economyFull team synergy
Rewards: Exclusive cosmetics, prestige rewards

Critical Success Tips

Miku is Mandatory

Critical

The 28% buff from evolved Miku is mathematically required for Wave 100+. Without her, your team hits a hard ceiling.

Berserker Early Game

High

His penetration passive trivializes early resistances. Strong early-game pick that remains relevant late.

Ace Optimization

Critical

STOP at Upgrade 2. The 3.53s SPA is optimal for DoT stacking. Upgrading reduces his effectiveness.

Economy Management

High

Speedwagen becomes essential after Wave 150. Fielding multiple mythics requires his wealth conversion.

Trait Priorities

Critical

Astral (Ace), Six Eyes (Gojo), Sharingan (Sasuke), Three Sword Style (Zorro) are mandatory for their units.

Domain Positioning

Medium

Gojo's domains should cover choke points permanently. Think architecture, not temporary attacks.

Recommended Team Compositions

Wave 1-50: Foundation Team

Core: Berserker, Miku (base), Speedwagon

Flex: Add strong/Swift trait units for DPS

Strategy: Focus on economy. Let Miku stay unevolved to save resources.

Wave 51-100: DoT Team

Core: Miku (evolved), Ace (Astral), Berserker

Flex: Add Shanks or Erwin for additional DPS/support

Strategy: Ace DoT stacking becomes powerful. Keep Ace at Upgrade 2.

Wave 101-150: Penetration Team

Core: Berserker (penetration), Miku, Gojo (Six Eyes)

Flex: Add Mob for emotional scaling if mastered

Strategy: Resistances make penetration mandatory. Gojo domains provide area control.

Wave 151-200: Ultimate Team

Core: Sasuke (Rinnegan), Erwin (formations), Speedwagon

Flex: Add perfected trait mythics (Shanks, Ace, Berserker)

Strategy: Ultimate abilities become necessary. Team synergy critical.

Wave 200+: Perfection Team

Core: All SSS-tier units with perfect traits and relic optimization

Flex: Economic support (Speedwagon) becomes mandatory

Strategy: Only perfect execution survives. Every unit must be optimized.

Common Failure Points

Wave 75 Wall

Many teams fail here due to elemental resistances. Solution: Add DoT (Ace) or penetration (Berserker).

Wave 125 Wall

50% resistance and 30% armor create a barrier. Solution: Mandatory penetration units and perfect traits.

Wave 175 Wall

Boss phases with 70% resistance. Solution: Ultimate abilities and perfect positioning with Gojo/Law.

Wave 200+ Wall

90% resistance, 70% armor. Solution: Perfect team, optimal traits, flawless execution, Speedwagon economy.

Economy Strategy for Infinite Mode

Managing economy in Infinite Mode requires balancing immediate needs with long-term sustainability:

Wave 1-50: Accumulation Phase

  • Don't evolve Miku yet (save resources)
  • Focus on $15,000+ wealth threshold for Speedwagon buffs
  • Field only essential units (Berserker + economy units)
  • Build wealth to $30,000+ before wave 50

Wave 51-100: Investment Phase

  • Evolve Miku for 28% buff (massive power spike)
  • Add Ace if you have Astral trait (DoT scaling)
  • Use Speedwagon Foundation Grant for mythic purchases
  • Maintain $20,000+ wealth for constant buffs

Wave 101-150: Luxury Phase

  • Add Gojo if you have Six Eyes (domain control)
  • Speedwagon becomes mandatory (multiple mythics = expensive)
  • Use Foundation Grant aggressively for team expansion
  • Accept that you'll spend $50,000+ per wave

Wave 150+: Unlimited Phase

  • Economy is no longer a constraint (if managed correctly)
  • Field the strongest possible team regardless of cost
  • Speedwagon generates infinite money through Foundation Grant
  • Focus on execution over economy
